Evan joined Prudential in 1997 as a financial advisor, and has enjoyed a long, fulfilling career helping people work towards their financial goals. Evan has a BA from Appalachian State University and enjoys attending App football games in his free time, as well as spending time with his wife and four children.

Steve Makinson, LUTCF®
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Steve has had a long, successful career with Prudential since he joined in 1986. Career highlights include a Presidential Citation for his work with family estate planning. Steve has a BA from Austin College in Sherman, TX, where he learned problem solving and creativity, which he uses daily to assist his clients. In his free time he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his three adult children, two grandchildren, and his dogs.

MARKETING ASSOCIATE
Lea joined Prudential as a support team member for the Carolinas Firm in 2022. In 2024, she became a licensed Marketing Associate for Hunter Financial, and looks forward to supporting you in working toward your financial goals. Lea has a BA and an MBA, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, baking, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
